Our Mission
If you have tried subleasing your off-campus housing to other students you know how frustrating it can be. We faced similar problems trying to find and lease off-campus housing. As a result, we created Campus Nest, a UCR-exclusive marketplace for off-campus housing. Whether you are just starting your search for housing or are about to graduate and looking for someone to take over your lease, Campus Nest provides a quick and secure way to connect you with students near you.
Why is Email Verification Required?
We want to keep our subleasing platform exclusive to the UCR community for the safety and security of students. A large part of Campus Nest is searching for roommates or people to share a living space with and we want to avoid any potentailly awkward roommate experiences. As a result all listings you post will only be visible to UCR students and you can see exactly who inquires about your listing.

Data Policies and Privacy
Data and privacy concerns are very real in this day and age so we want to be completely transparent with the data stored.
Every listing you post only contains the listing details you provide (lease dates, rent prices, numbers of beds and baths and so on) in addition to your name and UCR email.
Your name is attached to the listing in case you want to display it in your post (Posted by "name" for example) but you can choose to hide your name when you create a listing or at any time by editing your listing.
Your UCR email is attached to the listing but not visible to others. This is only used to send inquiries to your email.
You can choose to delete this data at any time by deleting your listing. For additional concerns feel free to reach out.
